Trevor
This is probably terrible to say but I wish I could feel more comfortable with my son. He is a great guy. He is smart. He is gentle. He is considerate. He is a caring person. My problem is I can't get past his Aspergers. Clearly it is my problem. I have worried about Trevor for his entire life. From having a very bad birth, to being sickly with multiple ear infections and ailments, to being socially awkward Trevor has always had to struggle in his own way. My belief for the longest time was that it was an issue of late maturation. The doctors said that was probably the case. The psychologists said learning issues. It wasn't until he was 25 and he disappeared yet again, this time for 6 weeks, and I got the call from UWO security that I had to pull out all of the stops. After living wherever he could, including under bridges, he surfaced. Filthy, bearded and dishevelled he looked like a homeless person and did not resemble my little boy.
